History

Adjuvant Informatics Corporation™ is a privately held company that was founded in 2001 by Dan Meyer and Dr. James Paul. The company has since grown into the leading developer of software solutions that are changing the way the acute pain services and perioperative environments capture, manage and analyze patient information. Over the first 5 years, Adjuvant Informatics has assembled a highly qualified team that has transitioned the company from a start-up venture to a fully capable and resourceful corporation.

Since its creation, the company has focused on the research and development of the APS Manager™, an application that tracks patient enrollments, orders, visits, and critical incidents for patients in an acute pain service (APS). By late 2001, the company completed the first beta version of the APS Manager™, its first product, which was designed for the Canadian market and was ultimately installed into a live hospital APS in January 2002.

The company has since started developing a suite of modules for the Clinical Anesthesia Information System (C.A.I.S). The C.A.I.S system currently includes the APS Manager and a PreOp Clinic module with the expected release of the IntraOp module, Hospital Notable Events Tracker, and the Chronic Pain Clinic coming soon.
